Up on the rooftop Libbeys crawl....

I'm sure the neighbors are happy to see that the shingles that flew off during one of the tropical storms are now back on the roof! Thank you, Tom for your help! Here is a pic of the boys workin' hard in the rain, nonetheless!

The thing....

...I swore wasn't going to happen this year happened. Someone gave me their germs and now I have a cold! I try to be so cautious! I have hand sanitizer in my car, on my desk, in my purse, I wash my hands before I leave the gym and after I touch the dogs! Ugh! What can you do.

So now I look like this because I've been blowing my nose all day.





Haha... Sans the suit and old man tophat...

I'm skippping the gym tonight and going home to lay on the couch! I need to shake this thing STAT! Hope Joe doesn't get sick!

The new dog haven

For the last month or so we've been taking Heidi and Elsa on their walks to a big open field nearby. They LOVE it! Elsa can't get there fast enough and nearly pulls Joey down on the walk. We bring a tennis ball for Elsa and keep Heidi lured in with treats so she doesn't run away. Instead of playing catch, we tell Heidi to "stay", we run away, and Heidi sits patiently while we run to the other side of the field until we tell her to come. So everybody gets some exercise! We managed to get a picture of Elsa mid-catch with the ball and Heidi with a treat on her nose. These pups are too funny!

Joey attends his first Redskin's game!

Ok, it was three weeks ago, but the Redskins won, so it was a good one to go to! Joe, Tom and Chris all went for a manly get-together. Joe said he would go again but wants to try to get better seats. The crowd that surrounded them, although Redskins fans, wasn't exactly what you would call first class citizens. They kept yelling lewd things at the Browns fans, and Tom and Chris were both wearing Browns attire! But, everyone loves a foam finger!

We are new to this blogging stuff--thanks Annie for the idea! I use Facebook, but those who don't use Facebook can't access anything... So, I decided that I will try to keep up with a blog for a while to see how it goes. I hope Joey approves! Haha..
